WHAT IS VARMA?
The word varma means PRESSURE POINTS. In human body there are many points which air stays known as pressure points (varma).
Varma is the Bio electrical center otherwise the pronic energy center.
“Varmam endra varmam ellam vaasi sthaanam;
Vaasi nillai thaduthaalkaal maranam aachu.”
If the points are blocked death will occur.
TYPES OF VARMA:
There are 116 important varma’s. Based on the way of attack varma’s are classified in to three types. They are,
Ø THODU VARMA-96
Ø THATTU VARMA-8
Ø PADU VARMA-12
PADU VARMA:
The pronic energy highly concentrated point is called Padu varma.
THODU VARMA:
The pronic energy less point are called Thodu varma.
